Images from a two-day macro workshop, organised by Wild Arena, at Knowsley Safari Park, Liverpool. Park Farm is situated right in the centre of Knowsley Safari Park, with views of the park all around. It's a very nice place to work, with well equipped studios, all-day coffee/tea and sandwich lunches provided. Wild Arena maintain a large collection of excellent subjects for macro work - details on their web site www.wildarena.com, under Macro Masterclass. The tutors were excellent, suggesting many variations on set-up and lighting for around 20 subjects over the two days. They are very happy to discuss subjects of particular interest to the photographers and advise on the most effective presentations for each subject. We really enjoyed our experience at Wild Arena and would highly recommend them. We are planning to arrange a return visit to include a combination of macro and park photography.
